Lassana Toure
Founder of Sanbila
Lassana Toure is a software engineer and the founder of Sanbila, a cloud-first video editing tool where originals stay in cloud storage. Footage can be imported from a drive scan, drag and drop, or URL (SwissTransfer, WeTransfer, Google Drive, direct links). Editors choose between two modes per file: light local proxies (H.264, ProRes Proxy, DNxHR LB via FFmpeg) for offline editing in Premiere, Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or Avid, or direct streaming of the original from a virtual drive the NLE reads as a local folder. The app ships in 5 languages (English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic). Studio and Enterprise plans add team collaboration. Sanbila is not a review platform like Frame.io.
Sanbila is operated by LAS GROUP, a French SAS based in Montreuil. The product is built around a simple idea: video editors should never have to choose between local-disk speed and cloud-scale capacity. Both should be one click away in their NLE.
